WHO ARE WE?
We are an experienced boutique law firm, which was founded in 2013 and incorporated as a Civil Society under the name PeninsuLawyers, S.C. in 2017. Our objective is to provide comprehensive, creative, effective and efficient legal services to satisfy the different needs of foreign real-estate buyers in Mexico and, more specifically, in the Yucatan Peninsula (Merida, Playa del Carmen, Riviera Maya, Cancun and Tulum).
Our philosophy is to provide advice and representation that allows foreign individuals and companies to safely acquire real-estate in Mexico, focusing on closing services and dispute resolution against developers with a specific aim in consumer protection before PROFECO (Consumer Protection Agency in Mexico), particularly, with respect to late deliveries, refusal of assignment of rights, collection of penalties and hidden defects claims. Our main offices are located in the city of Mérida, Yucatán, with representations in both Mexico City and Morelia, Michoacán.
However, the physical location of our offices in no way limits our ability to provide the legal services we offer throughout the Mexican Republic and, even, abroad.
